There are numerous breast pumps on the market from electric to manual, hospital grade and those for home use. We have compiled a list of current breast pumps on the market and their respective merits. From our experience we can highly recommend the Medela Swing. Before buying this pump we hired the Medela Symphony Double Pump. Probaby a bit expensive to buy outright, however, great to rent for short term if you are having trouble breast feeding. The ability to pump both breasts at the same time saves a lot of time. I highly recommend this pump from my experience.
